Support Groups

IMPORTANT

Missouri Shores is hosting our support groups again. Please call McKayla for information about the groups and the location. Social distancing will be observed and masks will be available if desired.

Women's Support Group
Tuesday's 5:30-6:30 PM

This group is designed to help women who have been in abusive relationships gain confidence in themselves and learn to live healthy and abusive free lives.  The group is open to women in or out of the shelter. 


Hands Are Not For Hitting
Tuesday's 5:30-6:30 PM

This group is for children ages 6-12.  The focus of the children’s group is to help child victims of violence solve problems nonviolently and learn to identify and express their feelings in a healthy way. Children learn that the abuse is not their fault.  They also have their feelings validated. This group is open to children in and out of the shelter.
